That’s why the development of cultural competencies is so crucial to the effectiveness of global work teams.

While companies commonly provide expatriate employees with training to prepare them and their families for the challenges of living and working abroad, training aimed at improving the interactions among members of global work teams has received less attention. Now, however, the subject is getting a closer look in a Bloomberg BNA Strategic White Paper, “Optimizing Global Work Teams via Cultural Training.”
