Adult Education & Career Pathways

Spring Institute’s Adult Education & Career Pathways program supports learners through welcoming classes and individualized career coaching.

Adult Education Classes

Spring Institute has been providing English language training since 1979. In addition to offering a range of literacy and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, the Adult Education program helps learners strengthen their digital skills and prepare for life and work in the United States. Free and convenient classes are offered in person, online, and in hybrid formats to help adult students pursue personal and professional goals. In person classes are located in Aurora and East Denver. Our highly knowledgable and caring instructors tailor their teaching to accommodate different language proficiencies and educational levels.

English (ESL) Classes

We offer free ESL Classes for all skill levels.  Formats vary by class offering (in person, online, and hybrid). Specialized classes for older adults (ages 50+) are also available.

Spring Institute offers free career coaching services and employment readiness workshops to help our students achieve their career goals. Services include job search support, resume writing, and interview practice. Limited funding is also available to provide credential evaluations for international degrees.

The Career Pathways program also has services geared towards assisting internationally trained healthcare professionals as they reclaim their careers in Colorado. Our trained coaches provide 1-1 human-centered career coaching to assist participants in navigating licensure, creating goals, developing employment readiness skills, and exploring alternative career pathways.

Career Pathways current programing includes:

  • General Coaching & Navigation: Supports currently enrolled adult learners who are working towards obtaining employment or upskilling professionally, primarily through resume writing, interview preparation, job application, and navigation assistance.
  • Employment Readiness Workshops: Provides monthly contextualized workshops for currently enrolled participants that focus on employment and workforce preparation skills, including resume writing, interview preparation, cultural navigation in the workplace, job application, and financial wellness.
